Sr. Market Intelligence Analyst/ Consumer Insights Global Specialty BrandsSailun Tire AmericasPosition Reporting To VP, Marketing & Market IntelligenceLocation: 1 Kenview Blvd. Brampton (In -office: Tues, Wed and Thurs)The RoleReporting to the VP, Marketing & Market Intelligence, the Sr. Market Intelligence Analyst Global Specialty Brands is responsible for providing robust analyses and insightful strategies, storylines/ narratives and recommendations that support the short, medium- and long-term strategy of Maxam. The Sr. Market Intelligence Analyst works to support key Specialty Tire business initiatives, category reviews, prepare new product presentations for customers and develops analytical tools, weekly reports, and handles ad-hoc insights requests to support Cross-functional and Sales Teams on a national and regional level.What Youll DoSupport the building of a formidable analytical and customer-support platform of tools and capabilities for Maxam, aligning to strategic growth initiativesWork closely with the Maxam executive Management (President, VP Sales & Marketing, Director Marketing) to support major business initiativesBe hands on - Leverage various data sources to support team members with project and ad-hoc related requests across Specialty Tire segmentsCreate, develop, and own various data and reporting tools with a focus on providing simple and impactful reporting solutions to the Maxam teamsIdentify new business opportunities based on comprehensive category analysis and intelligence gatheringPlay a leading role in the annual budget processRegularly leverage Market & Competitive Intelligence platformsCore CompetenciesA strategic thinker You move at a fast pace and process information quickly. You enjoy working with multiple stakeholders to solve complex business issues together.Your BackgroundA bachelors degree in business or related functions, and a sound understanding of data analytics4+ years of business experience with emphasis on knowledge and insight management within a top tier auto or packaged goods/consumer products environmentPowerBI, Tableau, and data visualization experience is an assetComfortable across the Microsoft Office Suite Experience with Excel and PowerPoint requiredAbility to conduct data manipulation, analysis and interpretation, market intelligence gatheringComfortable presenting ideas and influencing others through insights-based sellingA proven team player who seeks to collaborate with others to build ideas and see them throughEnthusiastic self-starter and able to work with various team members complex and at times ambiguous business issuesTravelUp to 30% of travel Majority in USA and Canada
