In this role, you will help ensure Members of Parliament and those who support them are aware of the information management (IM)and information technology (IT) products and services available to them, equipping them with the knowledge they need to perform their work effectively. Your responsibilities will include supporting the development and implementation of awareness and promotion strategies and plans for IT, IM and cybersecurity programs aligned with House of Commons priorities. You will recommend user-adoption strategies and tools tailored to the needs of parliamentarians and parliamentary employees, assist in coordinating events and training sessions, and contribute to the creation of instructive and engaging awareness and promotion products (such as infographics, videos, e-newsletters, web banners, presentation materials, and event collateral). Additionally, you will help map user journeys, contribute to broader communication strategies, and stay informed on new communication and marketing trends. Work-life balance /35-hour workweek 4 weeks vacation (minimum) QualificationsEducation: Diploma or degree in the field of Public Relations, Marketing and or Communications OR an acceptable combination of education, training and experience related to the work. Experience: Experience in communications or public affairs / public relations field; Experience with promotional campaigns; Experience in establishing an awareness and promotion strategy, developing and executing on a plan, and measuring the success of initiatives against stated objectives; Experience preparing key messages and packaging information for a variety of communications channels such that the messages appeal to various target audiences; Experience in researching, assessing and applying awareness and promotion tools; Experience in eliciting awareness and promotion requirements and in writing accurate and informative stories; Experience in coordinating events and providing coaching and training on products and services; Experience in engaging and dealing professionally with a wide variety of individuals in project.
