The primary focus of this role will be on providing field-based technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for cone crushers and other mining equipment. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in mechanical engineering, maintenance, or millwright work to apply their skills and develop expertise in this specialized area.This position involves 50% remote work and 50% travel to mining sites in Quebec and Ontario. We are open to training candidates who do not have prior experience with cone crushers but have a solid foundation in maintenance or mechanical engineering.The ideal candidate will also need to be highly technical, with a strong educational background supporting their hands-on experience in the field. A robust academic foundation will be essential for solving complex technical challenges and ensuring the highest level of service delivery.Key Responsibilities:Provide field-based technical support, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis for cone crushers and other mining equipment.Assist clients with equipment maintenance, repairs, and optimization.Conduct site inspections and provide actionable feedback on equipment performance and reliability.Develop and deliver training sessions for clients on equipment operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance best practices.Create technical documentation, including procedures for product maintenance and inspections.Collaborate with internal teams and clients to resolve technical issues and ensure customer satisfaction.Support sales teams by providing product expertise and technical consultation.Travel to mining sites (40-60% of the time) to perform on-site support and inspections.Stay current with industry trends and advancements, contributing to product improvement initiatives.Qualifications:Educational Background: Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, mining, or a related field, or equivalent technical experience (10+ years).
