If you have a passion for technical design, an eye for efficiency, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, wed love to hear from you.About the Role:As our Packaging Optimization Designer, you will play a critical role in ensuring our packaging, master cases, and pallet layouts are optimized for functionality, efficiency, and aesthetics. Your role will not only involve creating impactful designs but also streamlining communication with our suppliers overseas, making you a vital link in our global supply chain. This role impacts the foundational layout and structure of importing and will also affect warehousing.Key Responsibilities:Design and optimize product packaging, master cases, and pallet layout schematics using **Adobe Photoshop** and **Illustrator**.Collaborate closely with internal teams to understand design requirements and ensure alignment with Verkas brand and standards.Communicate effectively with overseas suppliers to provide clear directions, feedback, and follow-up to achieve desired results.Work within tight deadlines to ensure packaging designs are finalized and ready for production.Troubleshoot and resolve any design or production-related issues.Potential to expand into other design projects based on skillset and company needs.What Were Looking For:Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator (mandatory).Strong technical design skills with a keen eye for detail and functionality.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear instructions and follow up effectively.Experience working with overseas suppliers is a plus.Highly organized, able to multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.Creative problem-solver with a proactive approach to challengesWhat We Offer:- Opportunity to work with Canadas largest ethnic foods wholesaler.- A collaborative and supportive work environment.- A chance to grow and expand your role to include additional design projects based on your strengths.- Competitive compensation with a 2-month probationary period to evaluate fit and performance.Start Date: ImmediateOnly candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
