Position Overview: The Director of Integrations and Special Projects is responsible for overseeing and executing key business initiatives, integrations, and strategic projects across the organization. This role requires exceptional project management, strategic leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to drive growth, operational excellence, and successful integration of new businesses, processes, or systems. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the integration of newly acquired clinics onto the network, developing detailed integration roadmaps and ensuring seamless execution. Identify risks, issues, and opportunities, providing proactive solutions to achieve successful outcomes. Manage a team of integration and clinic support specialists. Business Planning and Performance Management: Oversee the development and execution of business plans for newly integrated clinics, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and financial targets. Lead performance optimization efforts throughout the integration period, focusing on key metrics such as revenue growth, operational efficiency, and team engagement. Partner with clinic leadership to assess current performance, identify gaps, and implement strategies for improvement. Collaborate with Finance and Insights teams to develop reporting to measure impact and monitor performance of M&A acquisitions and special projects. Strategic Project Management: Oversee special projects supporting strategic priorities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, and reporting structures to track progress and results. Coordinate with key stakeholders across departments to drive alignment and execution. Change Management: Develop and execute change management plans to ensure smooth adoption of new processes, systems, or services. Collaborate with internal teams to train, communicate, and support employees through transitions. Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a key liaison between field teams, operations, technology, finance, and leadership to ensure project goals are met. Communicate project progress, challenges, and outcomes to senior leadership and other stakeholders. Resource & Budget Management: Oversee project resources, timelines, and budgets to maximize efficiency and ROI. Partner with finance and operations to forecast project costs and manage expenses effectively. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in business administration, project management, operations, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in project management, integrations, operations, or a leadership role in a multi-location business. Demonstrated experience managing complex projects, including post-acquisition integrations. Strong understanding of project management frameworks (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or PMP certification). Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously with a strong sense of urgency and accountability. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. Ability to understand performance data, insights, and make strategic recommendations. Preferred Skills: Experience in healthcare, veterinary services, or multi-site operational environments. Familiarity with process optimization, technology implementations, and business transformations. Strong leadership abilities with a track record of influencing and collaborating across teams.
