We are looking for an energetic and results-driven Project Co-Ordinator. The main function of a Project Coordinator is to provide project support to staff and providing general administrative duties as needed. A typical Project Coordinator arranges schedules and regulates flow of work within or between organizational groups or businesses. Typical Day in Role: Undertake the co-ordination of project roll out initiatives and special projects as assigned. The main responsibilities of a project coordinator include working with team members to create a realistic timeline, following up with team members to ensure everything is running smoothly, and tracking project progress in a variety of ways. Participate in meetings with internal stakeholders and task members to determine progress of work and identify additional follow up needs. Provide general administrative support including weekly cadence for certain follow-up and obtain statuses, setting up meetings and/or meeting arrangements. Compile reports concerning progress of work and downtime to distribute to personnel involved in project. Ensuring documentation is maintained throughout the length of the project. Communicating plans, actions, risks, and issues with key stakeholders Managing and building relationships with multiple teams Assisting the Director and Sr. Manager with administrative functions and processes Analyzing project data and producing progress reports. Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills: - 3-4 years of strong MS Excel skills required to manage, track, and report the project budget. Excellent Written and verbal communication skills. Great Interpersonal skills to be able to interface effectively with a broad range of contacts from technical staff to senior management. Organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent activities and to work successfully under pressure. Can deal with ambiguity and requests for change. Nice-To-Have Skills: 2-3 years of experience in the coordinator role, specifically in the Banking/Financial field would be an asset. Good knowledge of retail banking products and services Having experience in Project Management is an asset. Basic level of VISIO is an asset.
