Job SummaryReporting to the Electrical Operations Manager, the Electrical Foreman / Woman is responsible for supervising electricians and apprentices in the installation, repair and maintenance of electrical components. The ideal candidate should be comfortable organizing electrical projects while also managing project timelines and budgets and ensuring all work performed meets necessary specifications. This position must work collaboratively and strategically to build and maintain client and industry relationships in the Moncton area.ResponsibilitiesProvide on-site supervision and direction for workersMake concerted effort to meet time and budget requirementsOrganize and plan all electrical aspects of a project; with additional estimating as requiredCoordinate, schedule and assign activities to workersWork alongside employees and participation of overtime hours to be expectedPurchase materials & equipment to ensure crews are properly supplied as requiredEnsure the electrical work being performed is installed to specificationsProvide leadership and training opportunities for workersReport to superintendent with regards to project status as it relates to schedule, problem areas, and site conditionsEnforce and comply all Company safety policies and Worksafe NB regulationsAttend and/or conduct toolbox talks and executing incident reportsDevelop and oversee onsite relationships with general contractors and sub-contractorsTechnical RequirementsRed seal journeyperson electrician trade certificateExperience with managing crews and customer relationsExperience in both industrial and commercial electrical projectsBusiness RequirementsAble to learn and succeed in a fast-paced environmentFunctional knowledge of Microsoft Office and TeamsAbility to travel based on needs of the businessCultural RequirementsStrong communication and interpersonal skills coupled with a highly collaborative approach to working with othersProven desire to work effectively and build trust with employees, operations and within the HR teamAs a member of the OSCO Construction Group, we offer a comprehensive compensation package including health and dental coverage, life insurance, RRSP and tax-free savings account options.
