A new market for us in Canada, which we want to expand, is the mining industry.You focus on the technical aspects of our product and service. In addition, we think it is important that you have commercial experience in export or international sales. You know how to determine the customers wishes and together you look for the best solution. Sometimes this can be a fairly standard solution, but you will regularly go into greater detail and propose customer-specific solutions.Job Responsibilities:Being able to translate customer needs into a custom steel proposalYou are interested in what moves the (potential) customer and work in a solution-oriented manner;Collaborate with multiple partners to create a construction kit/cutting kitMaking calculations, together with the Sales Manager, for the total package; cutting, steel, logistics, payment etc.Being able to identify whether a project has a chance of successDeveloping new ideas to ensure the business thrives and grows. Think from an entrepreneurial perspective.Ability to understand and speak on the technical aspects in a way that is easily understood to the client.Required Skills:Knowledge of steel and the processing of steel: Cutting (autogenous/plasma/laser), Installing, Waltzes, Drilling, Welding edges.Experience in the mining industry is an advantageNegotiation skills, more commercial than engineer experienceProactive, listening, solution-orientedExcellent English communication skills required, both written and verbal;At least 5-10 years of relevant work experience;commercial strategic insight, are proactive, flexible and willing to travel;Work Conditions:Permanent full-time availableAble and willing to travel to client sites (Throughout Ontario and Quebec)
