Ready to ignite your career?Job Summary:The Territory Sales Leader (TSL’s) primary responsibilities will be sales, servicing and building relationships with the Weber dealer network within the British Columbia territory. This consists of the Weber family of gas grills, charcoal grills, and grilling accessories. The TSL will achieve maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration by effectively selling the company’s products and/or services. He/she will report directly to the National Field Sales Manager (NFSM), with a Remote Home-Office. The ideal candidate for this role will ideally be based in BC to optimize account coverage through day travel. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:The Territory Sales Leader establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory, to generate new business for the organizationVisit customer locations to develop strong knowledge of needs, problems, interests and competitive activitiesConducts dealer presentations and executes marketing programsEducates and advises dealers on product features and advantages and benefits in relation to the competitive landscapeReports to the NFSM on customer needs, problems, interests, market intelligence and potential new customer development opportunities utilizing regular weekly call reports, conference calls and CRM inputAnalyzes the territory’s potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customers’ value to the organizationExecutes annual business plans for the territory in collaboration with the NFSMProvides input to aid in forecasting of Weber products within the territory, particularly with key and new customersProvides product training for all Weber products ensuring that all customers are equipped with up-to-date product knowledge, customer programs, service agreements, and any other support informationWorks various trade shows throughout the year representing Weber and supporting assigned customersEnsures that all Weber customers are in compliance with Weber retail standards and policies (Minimum Advertised Price, transshipping, foreign shipments, etc.)Adheres to company policy with regards to daily use of the CRM tool for field time management and activity reportingEducation, Qualifications and/or Experience:Post-Secondary Education or a minimum of 5+ years related sales experienceWholesale sales experience, preferably in consumer product goods, premium brands as assetProven success developing, presenting, and implementing business plansExperience in the hardware class of trade an assetMust be proficient in Microsoft Office applicationsStrong interpersonal, writing, and presentation skillsHighly enthusiastic and hands-on business approachThe successful candidate must have the ability to write coherent reports and produce clear and accurate business reportsEffectively present information and respond to questions from his/her management team, associates, retailers and independent dealersAbility to quickly identify key decision makers and stakeholders involved in the purchase decisionMust possess a valid driver’s license from the Province of residence to include a clean driving recordMust be able to drive long distances in excess of 100 kms several times a monthOvernight travel may be requiredPhysical Demands:Ability to occasionally lift light weight boxes, assemble grills, work trade show and showroom floors, and travel primarily in the assigned territoryCarrying company laptop/bag and corporate marketing material (POP) into dealersConsiderable walking is required in and out of retail stores and convention centers.Work Environment:Primary work completed in the home office and retail store environmentsOffice work includes home offices and retail buyer officesRetail store environment includes retail floors, backrooms, in-store offices, outdoor merchandising areas, and showroomsIf you have the desire to work for a company that is recognized for exceptional quality products and high customer satisfaction, then employment with Weber-Stephen Canada may be right for you.Thank you in advance for your interest.
