Medical Copywriter.Full-time, starting on a 6-12 months fixed-term contract.Hybrid role - Must be based in Greater Toronto Area, Ontario - Canada. This is a dedicated role with the primary objective of maximising traffic and brand awareness for a new content production studio for a pharmaceutical company located in Toronto, Canada.What you’ll doEnsure compliance to local legislation and regulations including company internal policies, ensuring that content development & activities are supported by authentic and up-to-date referencesThorough with PAAB submission and approval processStrong conceptual abilities, remarkable writing skills and a solid knowledge of the digital landscapeDevelop and update content for various commercial assets, with a focus on omnichannel implementation on digital channels (including banner ads, emails, sales rep materials, social media content and websites) – as well as printed material (including posters, slide kits, patient guidelines, leaflets and conference materials)Work in partnership with the graphic design team (on the needs for copy and content), with the brand and production teams on briefs, workshops and project deliveriesFollow best practices in the department regarding processes, communication (internal and external), project management, documentation and technical requirements such as language, grammar, stylization, content search, summarizing, data conflicts, and referencingParticipating in assigned training programs and working on assignments as per requirement.Participating in client calls as per project requirementsBeing compliant to quality, confidentiality, and security; adhering to and following quality systems, processes, and policies; and being compliant to training and specificationsAbout youEducation—M Pharm/BDS/MDS/PhDMinimum 3 years of experience in an agency setting with experience submitting to PAAB and making necessary changes for approval (from brand and PAAB)Strong flair and passion for writingStrong written and verbal communication/presentation skillsPassion for networking and stakeholder engagementBeing up to date with the latest technical/scientific developments and relating them to various projectsClient-oriented attitude with focus on creating strong long-term relationships with clients and encouraging others to work toward this goalAbility to assure timely completion of assignmentsSkilled in problem identification and problem solvingDetail oriented, well organized and timeline driven with the ability to multitaskExperience working within a big multi-national company in a matrix environmentCandidate must reside in the local city (depending on client’s office location) as this would be a work from home and office hybrid positionShould be proficient with English and local language
