Due to the high number of applicants they will be unable to respond***Eastern Quality ManagerLocation: Corunna, ONSalary: $140,000 - $160,000 + BenefitsOverview: The Eastern Quality Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring top-tier service delivery in the heavy industrial and nuclear sectors. This position oversees quality systems, processes, and staff to consistently deliver exceptional results, while mentoring teams and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, technical expertise, and a hands-on approach to drive quality excellence across multiple projects and industries. Must Haves: CWB Level 2 certification or higherExtensive knowledge of industrial codes and standards such as AWS, ASTM, ASME, API, ISO, CSA, NACEExperience with Nuclear CSA and ASME codes and standardsAbility to perform, comply, audit, and assess Quality Management SystemsCompetency in inspection procedures across diverse industries including pulp & paper, mining, oil & gas, and nuclearProven relationship-building skills with complex, large-company customersAbility to lead by example, developing, reviewing, and approving Inspection Test Plans and quality proceduresWillingness to travel to regional offices and client sitesFamiliarity with welding, Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) techniques, pressure vessels, piping fabrication, and testing processesKnowledge of rotating equipment, assembly processes, inspection and testing requirements Nice to Haves: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with all levels of a project teamStrong troubleshooting and analytical skillsExperience with or willingness to learn fact-based decision making and root cause analysisAbility to chair quality meetings and make decisive, effective actions based on supplier corrective and preventative actions evaluation Responsibilities: Oversee all Quality aspects of daily operations in the divisionEnsure that quality systems, processes, documentation, and skilled staff deliver exceptional results to both internal and external customers and stakeholdersMentor, influence, and lead regional Quality leads, Site Managers, and Job SuperintendentsLead and maintain jurisdictional and regulatory certification requirementsCollaborate to develop and implement a Quality program that aligns with strategic goals and enhances regional outcomesIdentify, manage, and report on Quality risks and opportunitiesAllocate Quality resources effectively to projects in a cost-efficient mannerIntegrate core values into all business practices and demonstrate leadership promoting safety, quality, customer value, and integrity***Please do not direct message the author of this job advert.
