Join us in our mission to elevate patient care and contribute to the well-being of our community.Full time/Day shift35-40 hrs/weekContract agreementObligations and functions Perform a variety of diagnostic tests including ECGs, Holter monitoring, AMBP monitoring, stress testing, and cardiac scans. Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, ensuring patient comfort, and attaching monitoring equipment.Operate and maintain diagnostic equipment, ensuring it is functioning properly and safely.Monitor patients during tests, observe their responses, and report any abnormalities or concerns to the supervising physician.Record and analyze test results, providing accurate and detailed reports to physicians for diagnosis and treatment planning.Maintain patient records, including test results and observations, in accordance with confidentiality and regulatory requirements.Assist with the scheduling of appointments and coordination of care for patients requiring cardiac diagnostic services.Comply to all standards of practice in regard to PIPEDA/HIPPA.Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and safety protocols, including infection control procedures.Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding cardiac health and procedures.Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology.Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting diagnostic equipment.Excellent patient care and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in performing and interpreting diagnostic tests.Working and communication with patients and family members, as well as members of the multidisciplinary team.Academic background and credentialsCompletion of an accredited Cardiology Technologist program or equivalent.Certification as a Cardiology Technologist Registered with Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists.CPR/BLS certification required.BenefitsContinuing education opportunitiesProfessional development supportHealth Benefit Package To apply for this position, please submit your CV.
