Sales driven and resulted oriented, the candidate have the ability to use his strong background in Sales and management to lead the multi-site sales management team to the vision and achieve company targets. Business relationship development with contractors, industrials, and other tools industry partners with local teams in all stores areas is always ahead in his mind.The desired candidate is ambitious, eager for success and results, can maintain and coordinate national sales operations, multi-site team and ultimately demonstrates a passion for the tool industry.The candidate is responsible for the financial sales results of Canada stores as well as the continued net growth. The overall quality of customer service and the customer experience is his priority. This role also involves continuous training in terms of product knowledge and marketing strategies, but also special attention to the immediate market in order to maintain its position in the market. Also, the senior sales manager must demonstrate leadership towards his team in order to recruit, train, stimulate and develop a robust team dealing with daily tasks. The sales manager also excels at mentoring his team. You will also be comfortable managing a multi-site high-traffic retail stores of approximately 15,000 sq.ft. and containing nearly 8,000 products.Main responsibilities:Demonstrate daily leadership skills to build and support the sales team.Implement sales strategies to increase stores sales.Assure business development and profitability.Develop commercial sales potentials in the business.Sales oriented, he has the ability to develop relationship with customers and business partners.Develop sales performance reports.Develop and implement sales methods for teams.Easy to work with and collaborative to facilitate efficient communication.Audit company standards to assure quality of service is offered daily.Follow his team performances and manage accordingly.Do monthly benchmark to stay ahead of the competition.ExperienceMinimum 3 to 5 years of sales management in senior sales management position.Minimum 5 years in retail fast-paced environment.A minimum of 3 years in the tooling industry or a related field, ideally with a commercial background.Must have delivered concrete results in sales, merchandising and marketing.Must have delivered concrete results in terms of sales growth and profitability.Must have the ability to work in an organized manner, have a work ethic where judgment, logical reasoning and initiative are advocated and used daily.Must have a vast product knowledge and have the ability to transmit it to his team if not use it backwards in a sales context with major accounts.Must be able to adapt to changes, delays and unforeseen events in a positive and professional manner.SkillsExcellent business knowledge.Ability to bring the team together towards a common goal.Excellent attention to detail.Excellent ability to develop, integrate and maintain work proceduresAbility and thirst for continuous learning and ability to transmit the knowledge acquired to his team.Excellent ability to communicate verbally and in writing.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop business relationships.Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task.Ability to achieve one or more objectives in a context of short deadlines.Training in management, business administration or sales is considered as an asset.Must have a valid drivers license.The ideal candidate has the ability to travel to Canada and the United States for tool industry conventions, for meetings (British Columbia) or otherwise as the role requires.This is a full-time, permanent position, 40 hours/week
