This position will be based in our warehouse located in Victoria, BC.Position Purpose & SummaryWe are currently looking to fill the position of Warehouse Manager / Technology Integration Center Manager to manage daily operations within our Victoria, BC warehouse. Microserve operates a fully functioning warehouse, which includes general warehouse and logistical operations as well as complete imaging and secure data disposal services. The successful applicant will maintain high levels of accuracy throughout all areas of the warehouse; lead and develop the warehouse team and provide impeccable customer service to our internal and external clients.The Technology Integration Center Manager will be “boots on the ground” and will work closely alongside all warehouse employees. If you have the knowledge and expertise in warehouse operations, we invite you to apply today.Key Areas of AccountabilityProvide hands on, operational leadership for all aspects of the Technology Integration Center, including warehousing logistics, inventory management, technology configuration and secure disposal servicesMaintain up to date processes and documentationDevelop and deliver training for all team membersManage inventory levels while balancing space constraintsDevelop, monitor and report on delivery of services in relation to meaningful KPIsMaintain high degree of engagement for team members by providing feedback, coaching and disciplining employeesResponsible for full cycle recruitment for all employees; including onboarding and conducting annual performance reviewsWork closely with Sales, Purchasing and Service teams to assure quality service levels to both internal and external customersConfirm inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with ERPMaintain physical cleanliness and organization of Technology Integration CenterEnsure equipment is in good working orderEnsure physical and data security policies are enforced and are followedResponsible for loss prevention via identifying, mitigating and escalating potential risks to all physical, data and electronic assetsManage workplace safety within the Technology Integration CenterParticipate in the identification and implementation of continuous service improvement opportunitiesManage the Asset Recovery (AR) teams responsibilities within the warehouseEnsure client specific AR processes are efficient, documented and kept up to dateMaintain Industry Standards and best practices for all AR processesLeverage IT Service Management best practices in delivery of technology configuration and asset recovery servicesUnderstand and execute in accordance with client-specific configuration, disposal and information security processes and policiesEnsure correct asset information is maintained in appropriate Microserve and client systemsParticipate in ongoing process and service improvement programs and initiativesMaintain Industry Standards and best practices for all processesRequired Skills & ExperienceMinimum of 5 years progressive experience in management of warehousing and logisticsExperience and/or knowledge of IT Service ManagementComputer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)Proven knowledge of warehouse policies and procedures/standardsExcellent problem-solving skillsImpeccable written and verbal communication skillsAble to work with all levels of staffSelf-motivated and with a positive attitudeAdaptable and flexible to change in a large organizationDesirable Skills & ExperienceExperience and/or training in the implementation and operation of relevant quality management systems and continuous improvement methods is an assetRelevant post-secondary education or ongoing professional development preferredKnowledge of data and information security legislation and best practicesWhat do you get?
