Professional Work Environment: Thrive in our modern, high-rise office space designed to enhance productivity and professionalism.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSAttention to Detail: Meticulously organized and committed to precision in your work.Compliance Expertise: Strong understanding of Law Society rules, including Trust accounting requirements.Technological Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and other legal technologies.Exceptional Communication: Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.Effective Time Management: Proven ability to manage priorities efficiently.Proven Track Record: Experience managing a portfolio of files, with live client files demonstrating your skills in client acquisition and retention.Marketing skills: a) actively seeking business from entities and individuals; and b) building reputation through networking, social media, and long-term strategies.Legal Credentials: Licensed with the Law Society of British Columbia or eligible to transfer from another Canadian jurisdiction.Practice Area Synergy: Experience in immigration law or an immigration-adjacent practice (employment, business, or criminal law) is a strong advantage.Professional Experience: Two or more years of legal experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDraft immigration and citizenship applications with precision and compliance.Train and support staff to foster their professional growth.Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.Engage in marketing and networking, both online and in-person, to expand your client base.Represent the firm in public speaking engagements to demonstrate thought leadership.Maintain accurate timekeeping to support efficient workflow management.Continually learn and keep abreast of the continuous changes in immigration law.REMUNERATION AND LOCATIONCompensation: Competitive incentive-based remuneration, based on a percentage of billed and collected fees. You can expect to earn $75,000 to $150,000 annually when meeting all responsibilities.Comprehensive benefits and perks package, including dental, optical, prescription coverage, and wellness initiatives.Location: Our modern office at Suite 960 – 13401 108 Avenue, Surrey, BC, is conveniently located and equipped to support your success. While we primarily work in-office, a flexible arrangement with one to two remote workdays per week is available after onboarding.
