We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their team for a 3 month contract, with intention to become permanent. This position is full time hours, and fully in office.Your responsibilities:Maintain accurate records of payroll and benefits for different provinces in Canada and follow up on discrepanciesImplement and maintain standard operating procedures and reportsManage various year-end and month-end reporting and any future implementations of benefits, systems, and payroll-related projectsEnsure payroll is processed timely and accurately including all earning, benefits and deductionsPrepare termination pay and Records of Employment for Canada Revenue AgencyWhat you need to succeed:3-5 years full payrollStrong excel skillsExperience working within Unionized environmentsWhats in it for you:The opportunity to work with a Manufacturing company that is growing.
