The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance operations of a busy manufacturing facility as well as leading maintenance staff and working with production teams. Provide ongoing support and guidance while adhering to strict H&S standards.**DAY SHIFT**ResponsibilitiesRead blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work proceduresSupervise the installation, take apart, and move of stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipmentProvide ongoing guidance and support to team of skilled trades (Millwright and Electricians)Work in collaboration with internal departments, and provide guidance to onsite contractorsSupervise the inspection and examination machinery and equipment to detect and find irregularities and malfunctionsSupervise the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenanceAdjust machinery and repair or replace defective partsQualificationsExperience in building and repairing a variety of mechanical systems4-5+ years of industrial maintenance experienceMillwright or electrical ticket is an assetExperience with industrial manufacturing and/or Food, CPG experience preferredAbility to read blueprints and technical specificationsSupervisory/leadership skills required
