Our key market segments include Industrial and Commercial Contractors, Industrial Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO), Fabricator, and Engineering Procurement and Construction firms.BILINGUAL (FRENCH ENGLISH) HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALISTThe Human Resources Specialist is responsible for coordinating various functions related to the management of the company’s intellectual capital. Responsibilities include recruitment, developing and implementing policies, and ensuring compliance with policy and labour law. The HR Specialist is tasked with fostering a positive workplace culture, addressing employee concerns or grievances, and managing performance appraisals. They also facilitate professional development and training programs, aiming to enhance employee skills and productivity.REGIONAL RESPONSIBILITIESRegional Recruitment and Staffing: Oversee the recruitment process, including job posting, interviewing, and selection. Develop strategies to attract and retain top talent.Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for region employees regarding HR-related queries. Address and resolve employee concerns and conflicts in a fair and timely manner.Performance Management: ensure regional adherence to the performance appraisal systems to evaluate employee performance. Provide guidance and support for employee development and training.Compliance and Policy Management: Ensure regional compliance with labour laws and company policy.Conduct periodic regional compensation reviews to ensure competitiveness in the market and prepare compensation proposals for approval.Health and Safety: Promote regional adherence to the element safety program in conjunction with the Safety Director.INTRAREGIONAL RESPONSIBILITIESBilingual LMS Content Creation (All Functions): In this area, responsible for developing and managing content for Learning Management Systems (LMS) in a bilingual format. This involves content development, translation and localization, user engagement, continuous improvement,Francophone Claims Management, Investigations, Payroll, Benefits: focuses on serving the Francophone employee population by handling and processing claims related to workplace incidents or non-work related injury, ensuring they are addressed promptly and fairly. Investigations: conducts investigations into workplace issues or disputes, with a focus on clear communication and resolution. Manages payroll processes for Francophone employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations. Oversees the administration of employee benefits, providing support and guidance to Francophone employees to ensure they understand and can access their benefits.Company Wide Translations (All Functions): ensures clear and effective communication across all functions through document translation, translating policies, procedures, and communications into necessary languages to ensure understanding among all employees.Cultural Sensitivity: Ensures translations are culturally sensitive and appropriate for diverse audiences.Collaboration: Working closely with various departments to ensure their specific translation needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.Quality Assurance: Reviewing and revising translated materials to maintain high standards of accuracy and qualityQUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCEUndergraduate degree in businessCertified Human Resources Professional (CHRP)No experience required if graduating with a degree in human resources management, 1 year of HR experience required otherwiseHOW TO APPLYQualified individuals are encouraged to submit their resumesWe thank all applicants for their interest, but only those selected for an interview will be contacted.COMPENSATION AND BENEFITSBase Salary: $60,000.00-$65,000.00Business CasualDental careExtended health careLife insuranceOn-site parkingPaid time offProfit sharingRRSP matchTuition reimbursementVision careThis position is located in Canada.
