Bilingual Patient Care AdministratorMedical Cannabis IndustryLocation: Remote - CanadaCompany DescriptionOur Client, who was founded in 2017, is a Canadian healthcare provider specializing in integrative medicine through a virtual medical clinic. With a focus on assisting Veterans of the Canadian Armed Forces, First Responders (Paramedics, Police, RCMP, and Firefighters), frontline workers, as well as the general public, the company aims to reduce dependencies on opioids by directing patients towards alternative treatment, like medical cannabis. On top of medical cannabis prescriptions, they also offer services such as topical pain solutions, psycho-social care, dietician and naturopathic services, and overall patient support. The company operates from Kanata, Ontario, and has a team of approximately 15-20 employees throughout Canada.Role DescriptionAs a Bilingual Patient Care Administrator, you will play an integral role in supporting the patients lives by fostering a safe and therapeutic environment. You will work closely together with the rest of the team to ensure patients receive the care and guidance they need for long-term recovery.Responsibilities:Onboard Patients and Understand Patients’ Needs: Gathering relevant medical history, and determining the appropriate care path (e.g., psychosocial support, naturopathic services, medical cannabis, etc.).Administrative Management: Manage patient records, appointment scheduling, and documentation within the virtual healthcare system.Compassionate Communication: Serve as the first point of contact for patients, offering empathy and clear communication to ensure they feel supported.Patient Support: Respond to inquiries about treatment plans, providing detailed and accurate information via digital platforms or phone. While knowledge of medical cannabis is not essential, it will be considered an asset.Preferred Qualifications and Skills: Bilingual proficiency in French and English is mandatoryAbility to work independently and remotely, displaying strong organizational skills and attention to details.Technical proficiency, skilled in using G-Suites and Microsoft 365.Experience with InputHealth or similar health management systems is an asset.Bonus points for prior experience working with Veterans and familiarity with Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC).Bonus points for previous administrative experience, preferably in a medical clinic.In return, our client is offering:Salary ranging from CAD 35.000 - 50.000 (flexibility for superstars)Remote workExtended health careDental careIf this role sounds interesting, and you would like more information, then please apply here, or email me at .
