You will coordinate the workflow, review the completion of document production, opening and closing files, scheduling, liaising with clients, copying/scanning work and other administrative work. You will work closely with lawyers and legal support staff to provide a high level of service to clients while also having opportunities to grow your skills as part of a successful team.As a Corporate Legal Assistant, you will be a key member of a dynamic team. Your main responsibilities will include:Principle point of contact for assigned lawyers, assuming overall accountability for work requested by the lawyer involving key members of the legal support team, such as Law Clerks, Document Specialists, Administrative Assistants and members of the Business Services team.Actively participate as a contributing member of the legal team to manage legal matters and provide excellent client service.Provide dedicated support and proactively and efficiently organize the flow of work for specific lawyers in the disputes practice.Coordinate the scheduling of important dates including client meetings, court deadlines, conferences, and lawyer and legal team meetings.Manage communications, prepare correspondence, and liaise with multiple key stakeholders related to ongoing matters.Support and coordinate commercial management activities such as billing and collections.Provide day to day support as required to meet the needs of our lawyers and clients.The ideal candidate will come with the following qualifications:A College Legal Assistant or Law Clerk DiplomaA minimum 3+ years’ experience as a legal assistantHigh proficiency with Word, Excel and document management systemsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Professionalism and initiativeStrong organization and time management skillsCollaboration, teamwork, and commitment to excellence are paramountStrong work ethic and a desire for continuous improvementQualified job seekers are asked to apply with attention to Chelsey Reimer.I really look forward to hearing from you, but please understand that I will only be contacting those that are applicable for the role!Options Consulting Solutions is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from all individuals.
