Works from wiring diagrams, engineering drawings and equipment specificationsParticipate in Maintenance related projects such as installing new machines, modifying machines parts and other special projectsRepairs and replaces electric and electronic components such as motors, contactors, relays, timers, and kind of switches, PLCs, motor controls, etc.Wires new control panels according to drawings, and verbal instructionsMaintains work order and preventive/predictive maintenance system by filling in the required formsRead and write electrical and electronic schematics as well as read basic hydraulic and pneumatic circuitsInstall, examine, replace and repair electronic wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical componentsFollow all safety rules inside plant and occupational health and safety actEducation and Experience:442A Industrial Electrician License/309A License.Must have manufacturing experience, ideally in the extrusion or plastics industry.Lead hand Experience.Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and systems.Excellent problem solving techniques and methods.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.To apply please email your resume to Denushka Punchihewa at
