Responsibility/Purpose of Job:Primary duties include safely performing a wide range of tasks that include all activities associated with helping operators with job functions, set-up, conducting quality checks, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to working safely and demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, possess a strong desire to learn manufacturing processes and operating complex machinery, and have a desire to advance within the company.Main Duties & Responsibilities:Maintain a clean and safe work environment and comply with all safety policies.Obtain and understand production docket according to print schedule.Ensure all appropriate supplies are at the press – ink, plates, stock, etc.Comply to all SOP’s and Quality Procedures.General maintenance, and housekeeping of department.Perform other duties as assigned to you by your pressman and or feeder.Job Conditions and Environment:Plant environment with exposure to dust, chemicals, fumes, and noise (hearing, eye and foot protection required). Standing and walking 100% of shift on a concrete floor. Some stairs. Lifting 40 pounds.
