*Only local residents will be considered in the selection processAs part of the Regional Market Development/Management Team, the Market Manager is responsible for the achievement of revenue and productivity goals for assigned geographical territory (market) and/or special accounts group within the Ontario region and Eastern Canada.Responsibilities:Responsible for achieving revenue, profitability and productivity goals of assigned portfolio consisting of Global, Regional and local corporate accounts as well as travel agencies. Prepare annual strategic plan for market development using available marketing and sales data to analyze assigned territory. Through ongoing monitoring and use of NCR to evaluate current accounts, develop recommendations for rapid reaction to changes in the markets economy and trends.Analyze potential of identified revenue sources using data sources both internal and nonproprietary software such as PRISM, and TRAVELPORT. Develop incentive plans for prospective accounts. Negotiate and close contracts and incentive agreements with prospective accounts.Accountable for opening new accounts, bringing additional revenue through prospection and analysis. Active participation in Request for Proposals (RFP). Successfully implementing Corporate Travel program in a timely fashion maintaining in-depth understanding of clients needs.Develop market share, revenue goals and flown revenue for AGENCIES & CORPORATATIONS by point of sale, point of origin and O&Ds. Establish goal agreement with Regional Sales Director for revenue achievement and productivity goals.Monitor schedule and product competitiveness. Initiate request for schedule and pricing changes in coordination with Regional Director.Analyze market potential for new routes. Initiate request for implementation of new routes and schedules in coordination with Regional Director.Represent company in relevant organizations and institutions, as well as trade shows and other events.Develop marketing plan; implement plan in coordination with Regional Director and Marketing Department.Event coordination to promote Aeromexico brand and routes based on market needs with the approval of the Marketing Department and Regional Director.Requirements: Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience desired.Three years’ experience in Travel Sales / Marketing / Administration or equivalent experience desired.Familiarity with Airline fares/tariffs and management of contracts.Fluently Bilingual in English and Spanish. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong analytical, business development, organizational, and communications skills including public speaking, presentation, sales and negotiation skills. Must be able to think strategically and follow through to achieve predetermined objectives.
