Qualifications:Master’s degree in Speech-Language PathologyRegistered member of the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC)Qualified for individual professional liability insuranceAdditional Requirements:Ability to prioritize tasks with a focus on client centered serviceOutstanding in person and written communication skillsExcellent clinical, interpersonal, and organizational skillsAbility to use a team-based approach with clients, families and their support networks to provide best possible therapy resultsProven organization and executive functioning skillsExcellent time management skillsPhysical ability to carry out everyday tasks as requiredSpecial consideration given to the following:Knowledge and experience with complex speech-sound disordersExperience working with children with a wide range of developmental and neuro-developmental differences including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)Experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systemsRegistry of Autism Service Providers (RASP) qualification is an assetExperience in play-based therapies
