We pay hourly and pay overtime (time and a half) for all positions.Qualifications: You have 5 or more years experience on the bench building custom commercial millwork in a shop with at least 6 employees. The best Project Managers have hands-on experience that drives the way that they draw complex work. You have a background successfully managing custom architectural woodwork projects from shop drawings to zero deficiency handover. You are a respectful, and self-aware team player. We do not tolerate bullying in the workplace. You are organized and have a system for keeping track of commitments, schedules and To-Do items. You are comfortable juggling multiple priorities, creating a plan, and working the plan. You are proficient in scheduling projects and committed to completing on time. You can read architectural and design drawings, and take conceptual drawings or sketches and turn them into functional shop drawings You are committed to approach challenging work with a yes I can attitude You can take the lead on a project, and/or take direction. You are comfortable around technology and have used an industry standard manufacturing software like Microvellum, Wood Cad/Cam, Cabinet Vision etc. We use Microvellum and ARDIS. We will pay for training in Microvellum if youve been working in a different software. You must be able to travel to Oregon for training. You are familiar with CNC equipment. Ideally you have output programs to a CNC (and/or beam saw), and understand concepts such as nesting, optimization of cut patterns, edge machining (4th axis), and creating toolpaths. Your daily activities are driven by improvement, growth, and success You maintain open and clear communication as you will be talking with customers and coordinating many things with many people (clients, co-workers, designers, suppliers, other trades, etc.) throughout the life of each project. You are as comfortable picking up the phone as you are sending an email to acquire information from contractors/clients (Occasionally we need to directly pursue the client for answers to keep their schedule on track). You are proficient with removing obstacles for people under your supervision. You have consistent attendance and are punctual.
