Job Description

The Ontario Pump Inside Sales/Application Engineer is responsible for selling pump products (such as pumps, seals, liquid hydrocarbon pipeline, and other products) and/or services to customers almost exclusively via telephone and Internet (e.g., chat, email, video conferencing, etc.) and act as point of contact post-sale, focusing on ongoing customer satisfaction, retention, and growing business. The Pump Inside Sales/Application Engineer is responsible for maintaining relationships with accounts through ongoing client contact and support, responding to client inquiries and offer guidance on appropriate products and services, executing sales strategy, generating sales reports, and identifying opportunities to increase sales volume while ensuring service levels are met, closing sales within territory . Responsibilities: Work collaboratively with Account Managers and support staff to provide comprehensive Pre-Sales technical Support for all PumpTech products and service solutions Create and deliver engaging product demonstrations via web meetings. Telesales and after-sales Support Response to customer inquires Chase Vendors/ suppliers for product pricing and delivery Ensure satisfying all customer technical and commercial needs on time-based on the agreed KPI. Project Follow up and coordination using Industrial Website and other contractor's websites Responsible for Remote contractors, Satisfying their Technical/Commercial needs. Liaise with customers and in-house staff and partners Interpret product and service inquiries and provide technical solutions as required Attend industry tradeshows when required Record customer database and document process in the CRM system Manage territory business development through effective networking, Telesales, research, growing contact list and ensuring that Process & Steam Specialties is at the forefront of all local opportunities. Market and promote products to our customers with the knowledge, service and product related to the steam system and Industrial processes, which allow our customers to improve their process and steam system performance and increase their profitability. Log quotations and provide direction for products, strategy and margins. Able to complete product selection and sizing. Maximizing Quote value using Autocad drawings /Solid Work Must demonstrate capability in mechanical and electrical industrial knowledge Manage/participate in large projects as required. Maintain communication with all relevant stakeholders to ensure complete, timely and accurate service delivery with every customer and every order. Liaise with Vendors and with key stakeholders regarding technical questions and pricing. Demonstrate a track record of exceeding targets continually by selling solutions to build strong customer relationships, yield customer loyalty and repeat sales. Accurate and timely completion of all documentation and log all Information in the CRM database all potential users Identify key accounts within the individual sales territory, and allocate sufficient time and resources to these accounts to develop a plan of attack and maximize sales. Assists in the sales process by liaising with the sales team on potential opportunities related to engineering packages and solution selling. Creating a Library of solid work drawing related to the PumpTech products line and packaging system. Design and draw system Packages Creates three dimensional (3D) models and 2D production drawings; updates bills of material and specifications associated with products and the modification of existing products, as well as those associated with special customer orders. Updates Engineering specifications as needed. Experience/Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Product and or sales knowledge for Pumps. Field Sales or Service Experience for seven (3) or more years in related product sales with at least three (3) years of sales or service management experience or equivalent combination of both. Computer skills in word processing, Excel spreadsheets, power-point presentations and electronic mail applications. Proven ability to multi-task and efficiently able to respond to deadlines thru organizational and time management skills. Computer proficiency in Windows, MS Office, E-mail. Able to use Solid work or AutoCAD Decision-making and problem-solving ability Other Comments: Must have valid Drivers License and Automobile Insurance (with Provincial Drivers Abstract) Must be able to travel interprovincial and internationally.
