Job Description

The MuleSoft Tech Lead will oversee the design and implementation of integration solutions using the MuleSoft platform. Based in Toronto, this role requires a strong background in API integration, project management, and middleware solutions. The candidate will lead projects, ensuring the delivery of scalable, high-quality, and fault-tolerant systems tailored to meet client needs. Location: Toronto Responsibilities: Integration Architecture and Development: Lead the design and implementation of MuleSoft-based integration solutions, following SDLC best practices. Oversee and validate client interface architectures, conduct design workshops, and manage multiple client teams. Develop and review project plans for all interface stages (existing, temporary, and final), including new interfaces. Testing and Quality Assurance: Supervise the development and testing of all interfaces, including regression testing for existing non-modified interfaces. Ensure end-to-end integrity and consistency across all integration solutions. Control Reporting: Design and oversee control reports to detect and resolve billing breakages for utility clients. Technical Leadership: Own the technical architecture and strategic direction for client projects. Provide leadership on middleware architecture patterns, including microservices, event-driven, and service-oriented styles. Operational Excellence: Design and manage highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant systems. Address advanced integration concepts such as content-based routing, message enrichment, guaranteed delivery, scatter-gather, and aggregate services. What You Will Bring: 8 to 13 years of experience in designing, implementing, and integrating middleware solutions. Expertise in MuleSoft platform and API integration. Strong cloud experience with middleware solution architectures. Deep understanding of core concepts like message sequencing, correlation, and queuing. Familiarity with relational databases, SQL functions, and queries. Proven project management experience, with the ability to lead teams and meet client expectations.
