We hold ourselves and all stakeholders to a high standard of diversity equity and inclusion, because anything else is unacceptable Overall Responsibilities Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, the National Key Account Manager (NKAM) executes strategies and plans for assigned key accounts. Operating with a 'General Manager' mindset, they cultivate and enhance relationships, ensuring alignment between account needs and overall business objectives. As the primary owner, the NKAM collaborates with cross-functional teams to align and execute key account plans and shares responsibility for Profit and Loss (P&L) and Annual Operating Plan (AOP). This comprehensive approach ensures that the key account team operates cohesively, driven by a shared commitment to excellence and alignment with Jamieson's principles Key Responsibilities Drive profitable revenue growth within the national key account through influencing channel and BU strategies and relationship management. Stay informed and use market research and analyze data related to market trends, customer behavior, and competitive activities to provide insights and opportunities to help optimize sales strategies and achieve/exceed sales targets. Develop and execute national account plans and forecasts for the account that are aligned with the organization's financial goals and objectives by establishing Key Performance Indicators (KPI s).Take ownership of the current year operating plan for the national account to ensure exceptional execution while prioritizing profitability. Allocate resources strategically to support national account-specific sales activities in alignment with return on investment (ROI) goa ls. Cultivate transparent and integrity-based relationships with the national account while maintaining the authenticity of the brand, even if it means declining certain requests. Develop the annual operating plan (AOP) for the national account and lead negotiations to secure favorable terms, pricing, and contracts. Ensure agreements are compliant and mutually beneficial, pursuant to the above. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Requir ements College or University Diploma/Degree Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook)Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Sales Experience of 3+ years in sales, account management or business development National Account experience required, Costco experience an asset Hybrid role including 1-2 days in Mississauga office Category Management experience an asset Proven ability to work independently, and on own initiatives Collaborative, multi-tasking, ability to build a relationship with a variety of people Organized and able to make an independent decision Drivers License and able to travel to make customer visits and meetings Able to handle stock, loading and unloading vehicle (approximately 30 lbs. at a time) Ou r Values ACCOUNTABILITY: We do what we say.
