We are looking for an Area Sales Manager who can work with us on a permanent full-time basis to maintain and develop relationships with our current GTA and Golden Horseshoe clients as well as source new clients to build a profitable business. This role offers the opportunity for remote work but requires on-site visits to clients for the daily basics. It also requires occasional work outside of normal business hours, including evening and weekend activities. Key Responsibilities: Play a key role in driving domestic sales and profitability for our brand/product Deliver new opportunities to the business pipeline development Maintain a regular and visit schedule for dealer store and sales associates Manage the brand and product portfolio sold into retailers Execute all of our brand/product promotions with dealer stores Forecast monthly sales by brand and retailer Create a strategic business plan in conjunction with retailers and territory Manage positive customer end-user relationships Deliver brand/product presentations to owners and buyers Train sales associates on new product launches and brand initiatives Negotiate contracts and liaison with internal and external stakeholders Participate in all sales initiatives and activities for independent accounts. Basic Qualifications University/College graduate in business/marketing or equivalent Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in consumer durable goods. Home appliance industry knowledge is preferred. Assertive, results-driven individual, who works well in a team and on their own Shows initiative, stamina and perseverance with an entrepreneurial spirit Excellent selling and solid negotiation skills. Possess strong computer and analytical skills, with SAP knowledge being an asset. Strong business acumen understanding of key financial measurements Strong interpersonal, exceptional customer relation and networking skills Ability and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory (overnight travel as needed) Must have a valid drivers license Whats in it for you?
