Our Client Is a leading IT-solutions provider. Responsibilities Support the timely and accurate completion of the month-end close process. Assist in preparing financial information and presentations for the annual report, press releases, and meetings of the Audit Committee and Board of Directors. Ensure accurate consolidation accounting and intercompany eliminations across the Companys North American and European entities. Oversee accounting accuracy for corporate accounts, including debt, goodwill, equity, and corporate accruals. Review month-end balance sheet reconciliations prepared by regional teams, ensuring no material unreconciled differences. Contribute to the creation and ongoing updates of global accounting policies and procedures. Assist in the implementation of new accounting standards and continuous disclosure requirements. Serve as a liaison with external auditors to facilitate audit processes. Coordinate with subsidiaries financial reporting teams to ensure timely and accurate local/statutory reporting. Participate in special projects and take on new initiatives as they arise. Requirements Bachelors degree in commerce or accounting, accompanied by a CPA designation from public practice. 2+ years of hands-on experience in private or public companies reporting under IFRS or at public practice. Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting principles. Solid understanding of and experience with C-SOX controls and documentation requirements. Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills for engaging with all levels of management. Experience with Big Four accounting firms. Background in the software or technology sectors is an asset. Familiarity with high-growth and/or highly acquisitive companies. Exposure to acquisitions, multi-currency operations, and multi-subsidiary consolidations. Experience with tools like NetSuite, LeaseQuery, and/or Concur SAP is highly desirable.
