Job Summary: Lane Four is seeking an experienced Financial Leader to lead our financial operations and support our continued growth. We are looking for a dynamic, strategic leader who excels both collaboratively and independently, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a strong aptitude for managing complex financial operations. The ideal candidate will bring a deep expertise in financial strategy, risk management, and operational efficiency, along with a proven ability to provide strategic insights and maintain precise attention to detail. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute financial strategies, policies, and procedures in alignment with company goals Lead financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling Oversee accurate and timely financial reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards Manage core accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities Monitor cash flow, investments, and capital expenditure processes to ensure financial stability Provide data-driven, strategic recommendations to the executive team and the Board based on financial performance and market insights Ensure effective internal controls and risk management practices are in place Collaborate with the leadership team to drive the companys global expansion Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors, regulators, and financial institutions Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA designation required Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 2 years in a Senior Leadership Role Demonstrated experience in Tech/Consulting Background in international expansion is a significant asset Expertise in financial modeling, analysis, and reporting Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of driving results and managing change effectively Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels Compensation & Benefits: Competitive base salary, bonus and stock options Comprehensive Group Benefits, plus a Health Spending/Wellness Spending Account Generous RRSP Matching Program Paid time off and flexible work arrangements Professional development opportunities, including attendance at industry conferences and events What we offer: Small team of people who get along and help each other succeed Flexible Work Arrangements (Hybrid) Our beautiful office is located in downtown Toronto featuring an open work space, catered lunches twice per week, freshly made snacks, as well as an external snack service Relationship-driven company with a strong and diverse customer base Ongoing support of learning initiatives, professional development activities, and career path guidance Competitive total rewards
