Job Description

The Store Manager is responsible for driving the business by developing their team to best serve the customer and reach sales objectives within showroom. He/she must be a good communicator, sales coach, and someone who has a passion for leadership and mentorship to succeed within Blinds to Go. Key Responsibilities Evaluate and strategize how to build a team of strong sales leaders, both within the store and the on-the-road sales team. Work with merchandising, marketing and manufacturing to provide feedback and offer solutions that improve Blinds to Go customer experience. Drive training initiatives in-store to meet business objectives Have high standards to help manage external partners, such as our installation team, to ensure high quality customer service from start to finish. Actively involved in interviewing and onboarding of new talent. Key Requirements 5-10 years experience including: Consultative sales and management experience High energy and strong motivation skills Very strong customer service, problem-solving and follow-up skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Operating experience in retail or multi-location service business Ability to identify root causes and solve issues with a high sense of urgency Ability to build cross-functional relationships Integration into the existing business and culture is critical. We will work with him/her to develop an onboarding plan that sets up the new manager for success at Blinds to Go. Development plan will be individualized and will focus on gaining a first-hand appreciation of our customer service requirements and to develop key relationships in the field.
