Our client, the Canadian Career Development Foundation (CCDF) is looking for a Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support their Career Development Professional Centre. This flexible role combines in-office and remote work, perfect for someone who thrives on variety and teamwork. Youll be at the heart of coordinating career training sessions, ensuring smooth communication with stakeholders and vendors, managing data and reports, and providing top-notch administrative support. The Opportunity Reporting to the Executive Directors, you will provide administrative support by planning and coordinating career training sessions and other related events. Everyday tasks will include: Organize : Coordinate training sessions, meetings, and other events for the team, ensuring all venues, materials and agendas are confirmed and organized. Communicate : Act as a liaison between team members and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and timely follow-up. Administration : Prepare, edit, and distribute documents, reports, and presentations as required. As well as a responding to emails and handling correspondence. Data Management: Maintain and update databases, files, and records, including learner registration and completion tracking. Team Support : Assist team with administrative tasks, such as data entry, travel arrangements, and expense reports. Project Management : Provide support on special projects and initiatives as needed. The Ideal Candidate We are seeking an experienced self-starting professional with office administration experience and excellent project planning and organization skills. You will be a team member who ideally has non-profit experience in the employment services sector. Qualifications Post secondary education in office/business administration and/or significant work relevant work experience Strong written and verbal communications skills Bilingual (French/English) is a definite asset Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams Effective time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy CCDF is committed to diversity and inclusivity in employment and welcomes applications from qualified individuals of diverse backgrounds.
