Job Opportunity: Civil Project Manager Infrastructure (Highways, Transport) Location: Lower Mainland Salary: 110-160k Employment Type: Full-time About the Opportunity On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager with a proven track record in delivering complex infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in highways, light rail transit (LRT), and bus rapid transit (BRT) systems. Key Responsibilities Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and close-out of large-scale civil infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with client goals, timelines, and budgets. Team Leadership: Manage multidisciplinary teams, providing mentorship to junior staff and fostering a collaborative work environment. Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure smooth communication and project delivery. Budget Oversight: Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets, including forecasting and cost control. Scheduling: Create and maintain project schedules, tracking progress and implementing adjustments as needed. Change Management: Identify and address changes in project scope, negotiate solutions, and prepare related documentation. Health and Safety: Ensure all project activities comply with safety standards, fostering a culture of safety on-site. Quality Assurance: Monitor quality standards and ensure adherence to project specifications and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. 5+ years of experience managing large civil infrastructure projects, including highways, LRTs, and BRTs. Strong knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and best practices. Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera). Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills for working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
