We are seeking a dynamic and experienced President to lead WELLSTARs Billing & Back Office division. WELLSTARs Billing & Back Office division provides high value software and services to physicians across Canada under brands like DoctorCare, Clinicaid, Doctor Services Group, and Trillium Medical billing. As the leader of this division, you will play a pivotal role in managing and driving the growth of our physician billing businesses. This leadership position requires a strategic thinker who can oversee various aspects of the operation, including financial management, customer support, team leadership, and relationship management with physician clients and government agencies. As it stands today, this division is comprised of 4 businesses with combined scale of roughly 100 staff and 8-figure annual revenues. Billing & Back Office is a strategically important platform for WELLSTAR and is poised for continued organic and inorganic growth. Key Responsibilities: 1. Financial & Risk Management: Oversee budgeting and manage the divisions profit and loss (P&L) statement. Participate in monthly P&L review meetings with the finance division of the parent company. Review and approve incoming invoices through Dynamics 365. Review and approve outgoing invoices to clients. Ensure accountability for enterprise risk management within the Billing division. 2. Strategy Development and Execution: Collaborate with WELLSTAR leadership, other business unit leaders, and the Billing Division leadership team to develop a compelling strategy for the division. Execute the strategy with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences and achieving strong P&L performance. Monitor market trends and the competitive landscape. Stay informed about emerging business trends and technologies. 3. Team Leadership and Management: Lead and manage the executive leadership team for Billing & Back Office services. Evolve the organizational structure to enhance quality and scalability. Host monthly All-Hands meetings to provide updates to the Billing teams. 4. Key Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including government bodies, regulators, and health system players. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as shared services, other business unit leaders, and WELLSTAR leadership. Manage relationships with key vendors and suppliers. Develop partnerships with resellers and other strategic allies. 5. Project Management & Compliance: Oversee large-scale projects, providing support and guidance as needed. Ensure adherence to regulatory standards within the healthcare technology industry. 6. Business & Corporate Development: Assist the sales team with high-value opportunities. Lead initiatives to source, negotiate, and conduct due diligence for potential mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in a relevant field (MBA preferred). Proven experience in a leadership role, ideally within the healthcare technology industry. Strong financial acumen and experience managing a P&L. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team management skills. Proficiency in software tools such as Microsoft, Salesforce, and Dynamics 365 Ability to develop and implement efficient processes.
