About the Role As a Director of Channel Sales, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all sales activities related to dealerships and channel sales budgets of Kyocera office equipment and supplies across Canada. Responsible for the direct supervision of the regions sales managers. This role involves strategizing, planning, and executing sales initiatives to maximize revenue and gross profit from dealer partnerships, while fostering strong relationships that support long-term business success. Major Duties and Responsibilities + Work closely with President to develop and implement the overall sales strategy, ensuring alignment with company objectives. + Achieve quotes assigned, including but not limited to sales quota, dealer recruitment quota and new dealer development while controlling gross profit and expenses in channel sales activities. + As an acting sales consultant, the focus will be on building relationships with new prospects while maintaining connections with existing customers, which requires presence in the field at least 50% of the time. + General responsibility to provide leadership and management support to all regional personnel. Collaborate to set ambitious, yet achievable, sales goals. + Support Area Sales Managers (ASM) efforts in the field to reach their assigned sales budgets and assist in establishing and maintaining a dealer network within their assigned territory. + Develop and implement training programs to educate on Kyocera products, sales techniques and industry best practices. + Ensure the sales team is equipped with the tools, knowledge, and resources needed to succeed. + Recruit, hire, train and manage the regions sales and support staff. Provide comprehensive onboarding experience, ongoing coaching, and regular feedback to ensure high performance and continuous improvement. + Foster a positive work environment that supports team growth and success. + Submit weekly, monthly, and special reports as required via computer and ensure that reports for ASMs in the region are also submitted on time and are correct. + Work closely with other departments such as finance, marketing, operations, and customer service to ensure seamless dealer experience. Qualifications Required: + Minimum of 10 years office equipment sales with a focus on copier/printer sales. + Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team. Minimum 3-5 years of sales management experience. + Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and leading successful sales teams. + Proficient in CRM software and data analysis tools. + Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. + Excellent written and verbal communications skills. + Ability to travel an average of 50% (overnight included). + Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record necessary.
