LeverageTek is actively seeking a Business Systems Analyst (Financial Applications) for a permanent position with its Ottawa/Gatineau-based customer. Work Location The successful candidate will be required to work on-site 4x/week at the customer headquarters in Gatineau, QC. Key Tasks Provide daily support to stakeholders on new requests or incidents related to Financial Applications As part of a team of BSAs support/maintain an ERP and other Financial Applications by performing such functions as application configuration, troubleshooting of complex incidents and development of new features Develop hands on knowledge of the ERP and other Financial Applications to investigate issues, identify root causes, recommend, and drive resolutions Facilitate the collection of business requirements, understand, analyze, and translate them into system requirements, configurations, and customizations Key Qualifications Between 2 and 5 years of professional experience in a finance/accounting role or similar experience as a Business Analyst, serving mainly the accounting/finance group is required Strong knowledge of core ERP enabled business cycles, more specifically accounting, procurement and accounts payables cycles Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines; able to work effectively in ambiguous or changing situations; ability to manage time effectively Qualifications Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements Demonstrate a critical and creative mindset with all new requests received from stakeholders Strong attention to detail with the ability to work in a conscientious, consistent, and thorough manner Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally and affectively with executives, managers, and subject matter experts Assets Functional experience with ERP systems such as IFS, D365, SAP Finance, Accounting or related degree Computer Science experience with formal training in the areas of ERP systems About LeverageTek Staffing Solutions Thank you for taking the time to apply.
