Role Overview The Digital Merchandising Supervisor is a customer-focused and data-driven leader responsible for optimizing the online shopping experience and driving revenue growth for GoodMorning.com. This role involves overseeing the day-to-day management of multiple eCommerce websites, ensuring a seamless and engaging customer journey that converts visitors into loyal customers. You will collaborate closely with the Digital Merchandising Manager, marketing team, creative team, web design team, and other stakeholders to ensure that website content, product presentation, and online merchandising strategies align with the identity of each brand, marketing objectives, and overall eCommerce strategy. Contribute to the development and execution of digital merchandising strategies. Oversee the day-to-day management of GoodMorning.com's eCommerce websites, ensuring that website content is accurate, up-to-date, and optimized for user experience and conversions. Regularly assess website traffic data and conversion rates, utilizing tools like Google Analytics to understand the direct impact on revenue. Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute online promotions and campaigns that drive traffic, engagement, and sales. Analyze website traffic and user behavior data using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas of friction in the customer journey. Optimize product presentation on the website, including product descriptions, images, videos, and customer reviews, to enhance product appeal and drive purchase decisions. Implement A/B testing strategies to optimize website content, layout, and calls to action for improved conversion rates. Collaborate with the web development team to implement website enhancements, new features, and technical improvements that enhance the user experience. Ensure all website content and online merchandising activities align with applicable brand book guidelines and best practices, maintaining consistency across all platforms. Work with the creative team to enhance visual consistency and user engagement across the website. Conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities to differentiate GoodMorning.com's online shopping experience. Our ideal candidate Bachelor's degree in Marketing, eCommerce, or a related field. Proven experience in digital merchandising, with a demonstrated track record of success in optimizing website performance and driving online sales. Strong understanding of eCommerce principles, user experience (UX) best practices, and online consumer behavior. Strong understanding of visual storytelling and design principles to guide creative teams in developing assets that support merchandising objectives and enhance the user journey. Strong understanding of creative development processes and best practices, and building a cohesive, brand-consistent message across all channels. Proven experience ensuring campaigns align with brand identity, merchandising goals, and business objectives. Proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and A/B testing platforms. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Experience with content management systems (CMS) and eCommerce platforms. Skills to have Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze website performance and identify areas for improvement. Strong understanding of online merchandising strategies and tactics. Creativity and innovation in developing and implementing digital merchandising initiatives. Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in website content management. Proven ability to collaborate with creative, marketing, and web development teams to ensure cohesive asset creation that aligns with overall brand strategy and UX goals.
