We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Data Engineer to join our growing data team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing, building, and maintaining our data infrastructure and pipelines. You will be responsible for ingesting, transforming, and loading data from various sources into our data warehouse, ensuring its quality, reliability, and accessibility for analytical and operational needs. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) to ingest data from diverse sources (databases, APIs, flat files, etc.) into Snowflake. Develop and maintain complex data transformations and ETL processes using IICS and SQL to ensure data accuracy and consistency. Design and implement data models optimized for performance and analytical querying within Snowflake. Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into efficient data solutions. Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. Implement data quality checks and monitoring processes to ensure data integrity. Contribute to the development and maintenance of our data warehouse architecture and standards. Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies in data engineering. Qualifications: Strong Data Modeling & Data Warehouse Experience : 7+ years of experience in designing and implementing dimensional data models and building data warehouses. Strong with Informatica IICS: Hands-on experience with Informatica IICS for data integration, ETL development, and cloud data management. Strong Snowflake: 5+ years of experience in Snowflake data cloud, including data loading, transformation, and querying. Strong SQL: 10+ years of experience in SQL for data manipulation, querying, and performance optimization. Strong Python: Proficiency in Python for data processing, scripting, and automation. Experience with data governance, metadata management, and data lineage. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Bonus Points: Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
