Position Overview Responsible for promoting DKKs premium Home & Kitchen products within Specialty retailers (Barnes & Noble, Kitchen Stuff Plus, Sur La Table, etc) , Broker/distributor accounts, Rep Agencies in order to maintain and grow sales. This role reports to Head of Sales and will have an opportunity to both teach and learn from a team with decades of experience in National Accounts Retail and Ecommerce across multiple categories. The ideal candidate is a self-starter willing to roll up their sleeves and work to build the Espro, Liiton & VIVA's brands in Retail. This individual must have an entrepreneurial mindset with the flexibility to excel in a startup work environment with big goals and exponential growth! Location- In person Corktown Toronto HQ Our office will be relocating to The Beaches in Q1 2025. Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities Conducts sales calls and makes presentations of company pricing, products and promotions to independent and national retail customers. Implement business strategies to achieve profitable business relationships and identify new revenue opportunities in existing and new channels Possess ongoing support to high value clients ensuring they receive high quality customer service Responsible for the direct sales process, aiming at meeting and/or exceeding sales targets Organize visits to current and potential clients Responsible for retaining long-term customer relationships with established clients Maximizes sales at or above planned levels by monitoring and enhancing in-store shelf and display activity. Maintains authorized product distribution in all locations; conducts store audits; maintains/maximizes shelf space; ensures proper product rotation in order to prevent out- of-date product; insures on-hand inventory accuracy to minimize low stocks and eliminate out-of-stocks. Develops and maintains existing account contact relationships through regular communication with key decision-makers, store managers, district managers, appropriate division personnel and third-party partners. Communicates all pricing and promotional information to all internal/external points of contact. Prepares and submits market activities, pricing and progress reports. Participates in account events such as trade shows, ambassador events, grand openings, and any other promotional support. This may include weekends or other high-volume retail day. Manages all expenses as related to this position within budget assigned by the Company. May be requested to perform different or additional duties as assigned Position Requirements High School diploma or equivalent required 2-5 years experience managing specialty retailers (Barnes & Noble, Kitchen Stuff Plus, Sur La Table etc) or an equivalent combination of inside sales experience.
