Test Architect Retail Technology Job DescriptionVancouver, BC, CANADA,Onsite (Day 1)Salary Range: $120 to $130K/Annum with benefitsAbout this team This role is in the Retail Quality Engineering team in the lululemon technology organization. This team is responsible for testing all the technology solutions before they are deployed to our stores to enhance our educator and guest experience.A day in the life:As an Architect you support delivery teams in the development of detailed solution roadmaps for a well-defined set of capabilities or logical group of systems, services or projects. You partner closely with engineers and project management to ensure that implementation meets design expectations. You are proactive in reaching out to architects and leaders in teams with which your technology integrates and you drive results through strong cross-functional collaboration. You serve as the organization's subject matter expert for capabilities in your portfolio and work actively within the Architecture Community of Practice.In partnership with Business Analysts, Project Managers, Product Owners, Engineers and other Architects, you provide leadership in defining project requirements and success criteria along with guiding the design throughout the development lifecycleParticipate and present at architecture design reviewsProactively align with key stakeholders, seek organizational context and apply learnings to architecture solutions; be comfortable supporting and communicating with diverse technical and business teamsEvaluate, document, and escalate alterations to future state architecturesCommunicates trade-offs in different types of engineering and architecture processes and adjust your team's process to meet the needs of the project and others on the teamContribute to the growth and strength of the architecture community of practice by actively attending and presenting at community eventsManage, Recommend and Devise processes which enable gathering Test Metrics which are relevant to the portfolioPrepare C4 level architectural and Threat modelling designs as neededDevelops Test frameworks and actively monitors the progress of the deliverable lifecycleHas inclination and attitude to expand the horizon and understand the bird's eye view of the interconnected applicationsDesign and push towards incorporating Automation and Performance tests into the pipelinesQualifications:Bachelor's degree or Certification in Networking and Computer Systems or Equivalent experience5+ years of Test Architect experience.4+ Years of experience working on actively programming in any Object-Oriented programming language2+ Years working on any Cloud stack such as AWS or Azure.
