Job Description

Job Summary:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to manage the progression of large-scale remediation projects or a portfolio of remediation sites. This role involves overseeing all aspects of project planning, stewardship, and execution while ensuring adherence to industry best practices, regulatory compliance, and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate will provide leadership, support strategic initiatives, and drive successful outcomes through collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Primary Responsibilities:Oversee the progression of a large portfolios of sites, including planning, budgeting, and execution.Utilize project management tools such as the Project Management Dashboard (PMD) to manage Path to Closure, schedules, cost analysis, risk assessment, and performance monitoring.Implement best practices for large projects, including Environmental Management and Contingency Action Plans (EMCAPs).Support the Environmental Solutions Region Strategist in developing consistent life-cycle cost models, planning budgets, and managing reserves.Identify, prioritize, and mitigate site-specific risks, ensuring the development of effective risk management plans.Collaborate with Functional Expertise Groups to initiate procurement processes, evaluate contractor proposals, approve expenditures, and oversee work execution.Provide emergency response leadership to minimize risk exposure during critical incidents.Serve as a public relations interface, effectively communicating with stakeholders.Provide field support for commercial transactions, claims, and litigation, resolving inquiries, and addressing lawsuits.Support the Senior Project Manager with project-related tasks and provide leadership when needed.Supervise and manage the activities of contractors and consultants to ensure project deliverables.Ensure remediation systems meet E&PS design standards, regulatory requirements, and are maintained for safety and efficiency.Skills and Competencies:Bachelors degree in engineering, geology, sciences, or a related technical field is preferred.Proven leadership skills with a strong ability to influence and guide teams.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral).Proficiency in project management and knowledge of safety and operations management systems (e.g., LPS, OIMS, and CIMS).Decision-making capability under pressure with sound judgment.Availability for periodic travel to project sites.
