Key tasks include mapping/updating net sand, Phih, net pay, OOIP, OGIP, etc.Manage inventory locations for Heritage hydrocarbon assets, across all basins where Heritage has mineral interests (Permian, Eagleford, Marcellus, Bakken, DJ and Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin). Manage changes to inventory year over year as it applies to Heritages corporate valuation process, and related audits.Advance geological analysis and identify uncaptured (non-reserves) resources for related Business Development projects.Develop and promote strategies for asset development, optimization, marketing, risk mitigation, and portfolio management from a geological perspective.Generate analogs between basins, assets, and regions to enhance understanding and decision-making.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate geological data with engineering, land, and economic factors.Develop and present complex geological information and data-driven insights that illustrate the geological opportunities present on Heritage lands to executives and stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.Maintain accountability for multiple basins, work streams, and projects, ensuring timely project delivery and adherence to fit for purpose practices.Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and regulations to drive innovation within the department.CAPABILITIES:As the successful candidate, the following describes you:You have 8-12 years of relevant experience in geology, with a focus on hydrocarbons. Experience in reserves and data science with a commitment to continuous learning.Bachelors degree in Geology or a related field.8-12 years of relevant experience in geology, with a focus on hydrocarbons. Experience in reserves, data science, and mining is considered an asset.Proven experience in managing geological projects and prospect identification.Well-developed knowledge of regional operations, petroleum systems, and petrophysics.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large scale complex data and create actionable insights.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify technical information for non-expert audiences.Self-motivated and accountable, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities across large land positions and various basins.Proficiency in geological software and data analysis tools.
