POSITION SUMMARYAs a Sales Representative for Greenhouse Systems you will promote our full portfolio of products - greenhouse structures, heating, benches, shades/curtains, installation services and other supporting items.With your strong people skills, you will develop lasting relationships with customers providing timely quotations, guidance and advice on product selection and customization for current/future needs and pre/post sales support.Your main focus will be meeting or exceeding annual sales targets in your sales territory by finding new leads and, developing and securing sales opportunities with new and existing customers mostly in the floriculture market.Your territory will involve travel to the southwestern US on a regular basis.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDevelops and implements strategic territory sales plans;Develops new leads and prospects through research, contacting potential new clients daily and maintaining a sales prospects listing for sales forecasting purposes;Develops customer quotes adhering to pricing and lead time guidance and working collaboratively with Engineering & Design team to develop customized solutions;Maintains sales data in Westbrooks CRM system to track opportunities, customer information, sales visits, etc;Works diligently to close sales opportunities by understanding customer needs and concerns, presenting customized solutions, and timely follow up;Develops and maintains strong relationships with customers providing exceptional service, ongoing communication, and regular updates on market conditions (pricing, lead times);Supports accounts receivable with collection efforts as needed;Provides input to Sales & Marketing team on trends, potential new markets & products, and creative ways to address customer needs;Attends industry conferences and events to promote Westbrook products, identify new leads and monitor industry/market trends and competitor offerings.QUALIFICATIONSMinimum 3+ years experience in a business-to-business sales role in Canadian/US markets with demonstrated success in achieving/exceeding sales targets;Prior experience in the horticulture/greenhouse industry strongly preferred; Valid drivers license and passport;Ability to travel within the US and Canada.
