Job Description

As a Personal Lines Manager, you are integral to the smooth operation of an insurance office. You lead your team, ensure compliance, and foster exceptional client experiences, driving operational efficiency and business growth. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Management: Lead and mentor the Personal Insurance service team. Support team members with new business, endorsements, claims, and renewals. Handle complex cases and client escalations. Provide coaching and ensure team performance aligns with quality standards. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships. Deliver timely and accurate communication through verbal and written correspondence. Educate clients on coverage, exclusions, and exposures. Conduct in-person client meetings when needed. Compliance & Process Management: Enforce office policies to ensure compliance with insurance laws and regulations. Manage budgeting, billing, premium collection, and financial forecasting. Analyze operational reports and implement improvements for efficiency and service delivery. Business Development: Strengthen relationships with clients, insurance carriers, and stakeholders. Collaborate with agents and brokers for claims, underwriting, and policy issuance. Drive business growth through exceptional client service and strategic planning. Training & Development: Onboard and train new brokers. Facilitate ongoing professional development for the team. Ensure adherence to underwriting guidelines and industry best practices. Qualifications: Extensive experience in personal lines insurance (minimum 7 years in leadership roles). Strong knowledge of insurance laws, regulations, and underwriting principles. Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders. Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
