Establish robust internal controls and audit-ready processes to maintain financial transparency and integrity. 2. Compliance & Governance Ensure adherence to TSX Venture Exchange (TSXV) regulations, IFRS standards, and corporate governance best practices. Lead financial reporting and disclosures in collaboration with auditors and legal counsel. Maintain Responsible Energys reputation for transparency, accountability, and ethical business practices. 3. Inclusive Leadership & Team Building Build and nurture a diverse finance team that reflects the communities we serve. Public Market & Investor Relations Leverage expertise in TSXV and Capital Pool Company (CPC) transactions to prepare the company for public market opportunities. Represent the company in stakeholder engagements, showcasing Responsible Energys financial strength and future potential. 5. Mission-Driven Growth Initiatives Align financial strategies with Responsible Energys commitment to sustainability and innovation. Support capital-raising activities that enable Responsible Energy to scale operations and achieve its mission. Drive financial insights to guide decision-making, ensuring the organizations long-term viability and impact. 6. Organizational Growth & Innovation Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial operations support Responsible Energys mission and values. Champion innovative approaches to resource allocation, cost optimization, and impact measurement. Stay ahead of industry trends, introducing tools and technologies that enhance financial operations. Qualifications: Education & Certifications CPA, CA, CFA, MBA, or equivalent advanced degree in finance, accounting, or business administration. Experience Proven success as a CFO or senior finance leader in high-growth or early-stage organizations. In-depth knowledge of TSXV regulations, CPC transactions, and public company standards. Expertise in IFRS, financial reporting, and corporate governance. Track record of building and leading diverse, results-driven teams.
