.If you are an outstanding Director of Rooms/Operations Manager seeking your next challenge as an Executive Assistant Manager, we have the perfect opportunity for you. Our client, a 5-star deluxe property in Nova Scotia, has asked us to assist in identifying a top candidate from a 5-star hotel background for this progressive role. As the Executive Assistant Manager , you will oversee hotel operations and report directly to the General Manager. In this position, you will be responsible for leading the Front Office, Guest Services, Concierge, Security, and Housekeeping teams, ensuring that high service standards are consistently met. You will also support these departments in achieving total guest satisfaction, meeting financial and operational targets, and adhering to the companys 5-star standards, as well as participating in appropriate employee training. Please note: Only applicants currently working in Canada in a true 5-star hotel or resort operation in a similar top management position will be considered. A genuine passion for and appreciation of working in a leading 5-star property is essential for success in this hands-on role. Being dedicated to day-to-day operations and investing in guest experiences is paramount. 6 to 10 years of experience in Rooms Division, as an Executive Assistant Manager, or as a Director of Operations. Maintain a strong understanding of financial management to ensure departmental financial objectives are met. Create a safe and healthy hotel environment by establishing fire, life, and safety standards for yourself, colleagues, and guests at all times. Cultivate a genuine 5-star quality service culture that exceeds guest expectations. Provide learning and development opportunities for all colleagues to enhance their skills and support their growth. Be independent, self-motivated, creative, ambitious, hands-on, and charismatic. Collaborate effectively with a team and demonstrate a proven track record of strong managerial and computer skills. Be open to feedback to ensure alignment with team and hotel goals. Be a service-driven individual dedicated to enhancing the wow factor both for the guests and the employees experience. Interact with guests and representatives outside the hotel, including current and potential clients, company representatives, government officials, travel industry representatives, suppliers, competitors, and other members of the local community. Coordinate functions and activities with the General Manager and colleagues, as appropriate. Ensure that emergency procedures are practiced and enforced to provide security and safety for guests and colleagues. Monitor applicable laws and regulations, including health and safety, and ensure compliance. Implement departmental strategies and action plans in alignment with the hotels strategic and sales objectives. Set strategic goals for operational efficiency and increased productivity. Obtain a bachelor''s degree or diploma in Hotel Management or Business degree. Review, develop, and implement policies and procedures to strengthen the team and enhance the customer experience. This individual must have a strong background in five-star room operations and possess a hands-on management style. Experience in a similar hotel or resort management role is essential. You will be expected to lead by example every day and communicate effectively while interacting closely with both guests and staff.
