Proposal The applicant wishes to rezone the 5 properties in question from the existing R-2P (General Residential) zone to the R-3 (General Residential and Low-Rise Apartment) zone under the Halifax Mainland Land Use By-Law. The permitted uses under the R-2P zone include apartment buildings containing not more than 4 apartments whereas the R-3 zone permits apartment house of four storeys or less. The development plans (provided below) outline the development proposal in detail, and include information related to the buildings, parking locations, driveway access, landscaping and technical studies.
