We are looking for an experienced, multi-skilled Healthcare Account Director, who will thrive in a multifaceted, fast-paced, and team-oriented environment. JOB SUMMARY As an Account Director for Elite Health, you are responsible for managing a portfolio of healthcare/pharmaceutical clients. You will manage a junior Account Team and work closely with the Managing Director of Elite Health, while being responsible for existing client deliverables and organic business growth. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Manage portfolio of multiple accounts With the support of a junior account team, oversee client deliverables from strategic inception to timely delivery, ensuring adherence to brand messaging, regulatory requirements, and client-approved budgets Cultivate client relationships and communicate regularly with senior clients, growing the partnership between client and agency Grow business organically by capturing new business opportunities with existing clients and seek out new business opportunities, as appropriate; contribute to RFP process Oversee development of quotes and monitor internal budgets to ensure agency profitability Lead and help mentor an account team, providing strategic oversight and hands on support as required; participate in the hiring, onboarding and evaluating processes EDUCATION & TRAINING Bachelors degree or college diploma required (business or science degree preferred) EXPERIENCE, TECHNICAL SKILLS and KEY COMPETENCIES Minimum of 4-6 years experience in a Canadian healthcare marketing agency Working experience with PAAB & AdStandards submissions Must have excellent/deep understanding and experience in the Canadian pharmaceutical industrys regulatory environment, including but not limited to PAAB & AdStandards, as well as internal Medical, Legal, and Regulatory approvals (ie.Veeva) Previous experience managing a team of at least 4 - 10 people and a portfolio in excess of $500K A genuine passion for the pharmaceutical industry in Canada Demonstrated ability to remain calm in high-stress situations Must have strong verbal and written communication skills Previous experience creating and delivering presentations to VP- and C-level Executives Exemplary organizational skills with a keen eye for detail Excellent time management skills Keen ability to learn new technologies Demonstrates creativity and resourcefulness in leveraging artificial intelligence technologies or possesses a keen interest in learning how to use AI to enhance work quality effectiveness and efficiency across all aspects of daily responsibilities and organizational workflows.
