Chief Technology Officer - Sydney / HybridWe are looking for a CTO for a leading SaaS Product Scale-Up in Sydney. Our client''s team is passionate about leveraging technology to make a positive impact on the world, using their product to solve complex challenges and improving efficiency through cutting-edge solutions. Taking on responsibility for the technical direction as our client scales, youll be responsible for overseeing the entire engineering lifecycle, from architecture and design to development and deployment as well as having the opportunity to oversee product.Key Responsibilities:Strategy: Develop a clear engineering strategy and vision that aligns with the companys goals.Technical Leadership & Team Management: Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams.Product Development: Collaborate with Senior Product Manager to define and execute product roadmaps, balancing product innovation and technical excellence initiatives.Performance Optimisation: Ensure the stability, performance, scalability, and security of the platform, including working with our industry partner to mitigate issues and manage incidents.Architecture and Design: Oversee the design and implementation of scalable and robust technical solutions.Infrastructure: Manage and optimize our infrastructure, including cloud and on-premises environments.Quality Assurance: Ensure the delivery of high-quality software through rigorous testing and quality assurance processes.Requirements:Proven success in overseeing all elements of the software development lifecycle.Proven experience in leading and managing engineering teams.Strong technical background in C#.NET, SQL, and related technologies.Experience with cloud-based infrastructure - AWS is a plus.Extensive solution architecture experience.Experience developing an API strategy and developer programme would be a plus.Commercial experience with at some of the following:React/TypeScript, Node.js/TypeScript APIs and AWS Lambda, PostgreSQL database.Java and C# APIs, AWS Lambda and AWS ECS Fargate, MySQL and Amazon DynamoDB databases.C/C++.What''s in it for you:Impactful Role: Shape the future of the technology landscape and product suite in an emerging tech.Work with a team passionate about building products that customers love.Hybrid working.ESOP opportunities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
